MELUCCI CELLO STUDIO

About Me

A native of Pittsburgh, I am dedicated cello teacher with over 20 years experience teaching both Suzuki and Traditonal methods. I take tremendous satisfaction in teaching students of all ages. I have taught students ages 2-70.   In addition to my thriving private studio, I am a member of the Artistic Staff at the Three Rivers Young People’s Orchestras (where I was a member at age 10), and Youth Chamber Connection. 

 I am Principal Cello with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh and an active freelance cellist. I  hold degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Mannes College of Music. My major teachers include Bernard Greenhouse, Steven Doane, and Timothy Eddy.
